Euro Trip: Porto & Duoro
LOVED our trip to Portugal - we started in Porto, exploring the Duoro Valley and port tastings! Highly recommend staying at an Airbnb in the historic area so that you can walk to a lot of shops and restaurants (Rua das Flores is nice but no cars allowed, so hard to get an uber/bolt).
Day 1 Porto - fantastic tour of the sites around our apartment in the historic area, crossed to the Gaia side of the Douro river for sangria, snacks, and first Port tasting at our friend’s beautiful apartment with a few other friends from Paris - sorry I missed a pic of all of us together, but it was an awesome day!
Day 2 Porto - sightseeing along the Duoro, up to the ocean, and then all around the northern parts of the city - we were lucky enough to have a good friend, and local be our personal tour guide, she really knows the history and has a passion for Porto! We had a great time!!
