Euro Trip: Loire Valley - Evening in Amboise

We saw the hot air balloons on our drive from the Pere Auguste Winery to the town of Amboise where we were headed for dinner and they seemed to have landed just as we arrived. Walking from parking to the town center made us want to take another day to explore more of this old-world village. The restaurant had good write-ups for traditional French cuisine. You know you've chosen well when you find yourself sitting next to a regional wine distributor who also steered us clear from ordering the Andouillette (tripe sausage), which is only for very strong stomachs! The food, service, and wine selection we had were great - just what we needed after a long day in the vineyards of Loire. Amboise is a charming town worth visiting! @ChezBruno
